Seasonal Office Materials

The kit features posters and tent cards for use during each season to remind parents about the dangers of meningococcal disease and importance of prevention, as well as to encourage meningococcal immunization throughout the year rather than only during the back-to-school months. These materials highlight activities adolescents and young adults may engage in throughout the year that put them at increased risk for contracting meningococcal disease. These posters and tent cards can be prominently displayed in waiting rooms to encourage parents and adolescents to ask about immunization.

Additionally, a template newsletter article is available for use in practice newsletters or websites to help encourage parents to seek immunization for their adolescent and college-age children throughout the year.

NOTE: To assemble the table tent, print onto sturdy 11x17 paper and cut out along indicated lines. Score the table tent where indicated, folding the piece in half. Cut slits in the two ends where indicated and slide the ends together at the slits, locking the piece in place and creating a tent. Display where patients can see, such as a waiting room table or the sign-in counter.
